“I came to Wakefield College from school to do the Multiskills Course in Motor Vehicle Studies which covered motorcycle, car and body/paint. I then progressed onto the Level 1 Light Vehicle Maintenance Course followed by the Level 1 in HGV. I changed over to HGV as I found them more interesting. I am now doing the Level 2 Diploma in HGV. I’m really enjoying the course, learning more and getting more into the workings of HGV’s. I really enjoy the Engineering unit as its more hands on and you can see what you have done. I’m hoping to go onto an apprenticeship next within the HGV industry.”
