What You Will Study
Learners study four mandatory units which cover contributing to a strategic plan, designing a business process, managing strategic change, and leadership. Students then choose from a diverse range of optional units to complete the qualification, tailoring their learning to meet their individual and organisational needs.

Attendance Expectations
You will need to meet with your assessor approximately every four to six weeks. Meetings in the workplace are arranged at mutually convenient times and dates.

How You Will Be Assessed
Competency units will be assessed via the collation of a portfolio of evidence to meet assessment criteria. Evidence could include reflective accounts, professional discussions, witness testimonies, photographs, and work product evidence such as minutes, reports, emails, and procedures.
Knowledge units are assessed via written assignments and professional discussion.

Entry Requirements
GCSEs at Grade 9-4, including English and Maths.
OR
Level 2 Functional Skills in English and Maths.
Where the applicant does not meet the course entry requirements, entry will be considered on previous management and leadership qualifications.
You must be employed in a managerial role at the appropriate level to enable you to provide evidence of competency in the units identified above.
