    EITHER
  • Practical Skills in Animal Science
  • Animal Metabolism
    OR
  • Animal Management in a Retail Environment
  • Exotic Animal Husbandry
  • How You Will Be Assessed

    There are exam elements for Animal Biology, Animal Welfare & Ethics and Animal Breeding and Genetics. Remaining units have graded assignments to complete.

  • Entry Requirements

    4 GCSEs at Grade 9-4, including English or Maths and a Grade 3 in the other.

    OR

    4 GCSEs 9-4 and Level 2 in either English or Maths and Grade 3 or Level 1 in the other.

    OR

    Level 2 Technical Diploma in Animal Care at Merit Grade plus Level 2 English and Maths.

  • Further Study

    Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Management students can progress to the HND in Animal Management (Animal Behaviour and Welfare) or an Animal Management Foundation Degree or BSc (Hons) in Animal Management. Related degrees courses include Zoology, Marine Biology, Animal Welfare and Behaviour are also alternative progression routes.
