“I chose to study at Castleford College as it had the Beauty Therapy course available that I wanted to apply for and it is also local to me. I have progressed from Level 2 Beauty Therapy to the Level 3 Beauty Therapy. This year, I have really enjoyed body massage in the Level 3 course. My tutor who delivers the Level 3 Beauty Therapy has helped me unbelievably throughout my course by going over routines until there were understood. We went on a trip to a nursery with the college where we painted the nails of the mums group that they held there it was a great event. My dream is to be self-employed and own a salon of my own. This course will help me achieve this by giving me the knowledge and skills to perform a wide range of treatments but also what it’s like to work in a salon environment.”
