“The teachers at College are great and treat you like adults and peers, they really showed they care about us. I was also given lots of independence and learnt to study by myself which was really different to secondary school.”
“My biggest takeaway from college was becoming more independent, it made me enjoy it more. After studying Chemistry at A Level, it is now my favourite subject because the tutors made lessons enjoyable. We got to go on a trip to the University of Hull to explore all our options after College and I also took part on a Biology fieldtrip where we went to the beach at Robin Hood’s Bay which was fun. My advice for students doing A Level is definitely go to college because its more independent.”
