“After studying T Level Early Years Education, I am going on to study at Sheffield Hallam University for primary education as I’d love to be a primary school teacher in the future. On my course, I got to do a placement at Featherstone All Saints Primary School where I learnt so much about teaching and gained skills such as in the moment decision making and behaviour management.”
“I have also learnt a lot in the classroom too such as lesson planning which I enjoyed. Throughout my time at Wakefield College, I had several one-to-one meetings with my tutors as well as group tutorials where I had lots of help with my personal statement and applications to university. On the course we had the opportunity to go to a childcare professionals exposition where we learnt lots about the occupation first-hand from teachers.”
