“I chose to study Creative Media at Wakefield College because I really enjoyed the Taster Day where I was able to meet all the tutors who were nice and friendly. There is also good equipment, unique course content and more opportunities to work with film than other colleges I considered.
“I enjoy filming the most on my course as you get you use your own creative direction and have the freedom to go out and film whatever you like. It is a very practical course and all the equipment is provided by the College. The tutors make each lesson fun and I learn something different from them every session that I can then apply to my work.
“I am carrying on the course into the second year where I am hoping to do a work placement. My dream career would be to become a director or work in production, involved in things such as camerawork.”
